January 2018 – Citywide Robotics Tournament

On January 20, 2018, the Daniel A Payne Community Development Corporation hosted its first citywide elementary and middle school robotics tournament.  Over 20 teams participated and nearly 230 people attended the event.    The teams were competing for the VEX IQ challenge DC league championship.  This was the 2nd of 3 match challenge competitions to determine

On October 24, 2017, the DAPCDC’s Percy Julian Institute hosted students from the Washington Jesuit Academy and Walker Mill Middle School at the National Museum of Health and Medicine located in Silver Spring, Maryland.
